Next Gen Golfers Excel as Mimosa Plus Junior Series Continues

Mimosa Plus Golf Club, July 15, 2025 —

The third round of the Mimosa Plus Junior Series delivered another exciting chapter, showcasing young athletes' skill, discipline, and sportsmanship. Miguel Orbita was a standout, capturing his third consecutive win in the Boys 11–13 division with rounds of 79 and 84 (163 total). His consistent form under pressure makes him the first junior to achieve a "three-peat" in the series.


Across all divisions, the golf level was commendable. Zoey Laranang edged out the competition in the Girls 11–13 division (96, 94). In Girls 8–10, Amiya Tablac showed steady improvement, taking top spot with a two-day total of 216. The Boys 8–10 division saw a close battle, with Zion Sandi narrowly topping Sooreen Lee (182 total). Their competitive spirit exemplified the series' aims.

The Mimosa Plus Junior Series continues to grow in both participation and quality, offering a strong developmental platform for junior golfers. Congratulations to all participants; we look forward to Round 4!

Mimosa Plus Golf is Philippines’ Best Golf Course

Mimosa Plus Golf and Quest Plus Conference Center, Clark proudly presented their third consecutive "Philippines' Best Golf Course" award, their first "Philippines' Best Golf Hotel" award, and the prestigious GEO Certification to the Department of Tourism (DOT).

General Manager Michael Gapin, along with Director of Sales & Marketing Judy Sarmiento, Golf Director Rory Young, Director of Marketing Renzelle Palma, and Assistant Director of Sales Jaymart Lorenzo, formally handed over the awards to Secretary of Tourism Christina Frasco.


These distinguished accolades further cement Filinvest Mimosa+ Leisure City’s position as the premier golf destination in the Philippines.


Also present at the event were CDC Director Atty. Bryan Matthew Nepomuceno, Ambassador of Vietnam to the Philippines H.E. Lai Thai Binh, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines H.E. Tull Traisorat, CDC Chairman Atty. Edgardo Pamintuan, and DOT 3 Regional Director Richard Daenos. 

Course Dress Code

At Mimosa Plus Golf Course, adhering to the proper golf dress code is essential for all players and visitors across all course facilities.

Acceptable attire 

Tailored trousers, shorts, or skirts, with men’s shirts requiring a collar or a golf-style turtleneck design

Socks of any length and color are allowed with shorts, but must always be worn 

Footwear should consist of golf shoes with soft spikes or dimples, or flat-soled sports shoes. 

Shorts supported by a drawstring and pants without large cargo-style pockets are permitted, maintaining a neat and respectful appearance on the course.

Unacceptable attire 

Gym and sporting-type shorts, collarless shirts (except for golf-style turtlenecks)

Long pants with elasticized waists, tracksuit pants or tops, hoodies, and any type of thong or sandal, including going barefoot

Metal spikes on shoes are also strictly banned.
